It's been a busy 7 years since the Thomas Wolfe Web Site made it's debut on the world wide web in February of 1995. At the time there was absolutely nothing on the Internet about Wolfe, and as a new fan of his writings, I was committed to changing that. I knew nothing about HTML, and the miracle of web editors like Front Page was still many years away.

    I began teaching myself and discovered that it was not only a neat way of saying thanks to Wolfe for the gift of his books but also a creative outlet for myself and a new and previously unthought of way of making new friends!

    I stopped updating the site a couple of years ago except for an occasional courtesy to people who have asked me to add a link to their site. But when I noticed that the site had just passed the 100,000 mark in total hits, what with all the easy advances I can make to the site with Front Page, I decided to spruce it up some.

    Thomas Wolfe's reputation as a great writer seems to be secure for many years to come. That I've contributed ever so slightly to maintaining his legacy is something of which I am very proud!
