Randall Library provides Digital mini cams for student use. To ensure appropriate use of the equipment and our facility, students must follow these
guidelines:

During the hours Randall Library is
open, the camera and equipment can be booked in advance and checked out for one week at a time, with one
renewal if no one else has requested a camera. (Hours).
- Overdue charges are $5.00 per day.

Bookings are strongly encouraged but check out
will be allowed if no previous booking has been made.
- Requests can be made at the
Customer Services Desk (in
person or via phone: 910-962-3272).
- Students will need to bring their UNCW I.D. to the Circulation Desk to check out equipment.
- Students may reserve a study room at the back of the 1st floor that has a white board to preview their film (more information).

Students will be asked to sign the check out/liability form, sample shown below.
- Liability for damage to equipment is placed upon
student signing form.

Circulation staff members are not trained to use the equipment but someone can help troubleshoot problems as their
availability allows.

By signing this document I understand that I am
financially responsible for any damage to the camera and accompanying equipment. The maximum liability for this equipment is $1,500. Damage to the camera or any of the parts accompanying it and failure to return any of the parts, including the camera bag, will result in replacement charges being assessed.
