H. J. Southwell Murder

This collection includes correspondence regarding the trial in the murder of H. J. Southwell, an engineer on the Atlantic Coast Line and a member of the Brotherhood of Locomotive Engineers.  During the shopmen's strike in July 1922, Southwell was working on the line in Wilmington when he was shot by H.
