Bill Curry

Known as "Mr. Iron Man" for his abilities to compete in multiple divisions at surf contest, Bill Curry has been surfing and competing since the 1960s.

The first surfer from North Carolina to win the Men's Division at the Eastern Surfing Championships, Curry has been an amateur champion on multiple occasions and has been a member of the U.S. surfing team.

He was inducted into the East Coast Surfing Legends Hall of Fame in January 2004.
