a. Banner Update FSU, UNCW. SSN/Banner created ID numbers. FSU is moving
forward with their plans; UNCW Dan is working with campus officials to get
the finer details finished; plans are underway; UNCP is waiting for campus IT
to contact them for input/discussion.
Banner numbers printed on card?
UNCW initially said no, but is revisiting it; FSU is still in the
decision-making process; UNCP has asked for discussion.

c. EDIFACT Dan will get with Susan Whitt
to coordinate the requested settings with the vendors. Dan has not heard from FSU about their
preferences. No rush on this; there is
plenty of time.
d. WebBridge
Order has been submitted. No confirmation
yet from Innovative. Dan will communicate when he knows more. Tutorial from CSDirect
available for WebBridge. Also, new Circulation tutorial online. Dan doesnt anticipate doing anything or
implementing WebBridge this semester.
e. Loan Rules for Distance Education students
UNCP has had problems with graduate students who are distance education students
being able to place holds on items. The Loan Rule currently does not allow for
this service. All institutions agreed to
allow the PTYPE for DE students to place holds on items from the consortial institutions.
f. WebOPAC Update Dan provided an update on his
work with the WebOPAC.

· Brief display what information do we want to display; decided to go with the location/call number/status box, not the one line info.
· Scope colors would like to know what each institution would like by color code

· Variable-length field adjustments
o t field name of journal followed by school initial in parentheses
o Need clarification for the multi-valued variable-length fields
o "y" tag for Caption 853 field -- not able to determine
